The idea for this shoot was to highlight people in our lives or people doing day to day things. The portrait side of it was to highlight people in a single shot and get a closeup of them in a photo. I decided to go home for the weekend and shoot some photos of my family (really just my dad and my brother) working on some things on a Saturday. I think some of the wider angle photos do a good job of illustrating some day to day life events for these 2 people while I think the portraits do what they are supposed to, give you a closeup look at a person living their life. All of the photos are meant to give a small look into a bit of life on a farm.
I used a Nikon D3400 with both the standard and telephoto lenses. For my tripod I used just the standard AmazonBasics one. For editing I used the default windows editing tool and Adobe Photoshop on an iMac for color correction.
